Alternative treatment for Pruritus Vulvae
Pruritus means an itching sensation.
Causes of pruritus vulvae
- Purulent and mucopurulent vaginal discharge.
- skin diseases.
- Highly acidic urine.
- Glycosuria and diabetes also contribute.
- Allergy from soaps, bath salts, deodorants and antiseptics which contain particular phenols and cresols and from certain drugs.
- Nylons and tight-fitting clothes.

Alternative treatment for purirtus vulvae:
- Scratching the skin is not a cure. Avoid scratching, as this can lead to further damage to the skin.
- Proper hygiene is most important for the treatment of pruritus vulvae caused by infections.
- Bowels should be kept clean either through enemas or a natural diet.
- Try to wear clean and loose clothes.
- After urination, the vagina should be thoroughly washed with plain cold water.
- If you are suffering from severe pruritus, then you are advised to wash the vulva with neem leaves decoction.
- Apply green light charged coconut oil.
- Treatments like neem water vaginal douches help kill bacteria and fungus. The affect reaction should be exposed to green coloured light or rays of the sun through green coloured glass for 25 to 30 minutes. This will help reduce infections.

- In order to make a diet menu include fruits, salads, sprouts, vegetables, soups or buttermilk.
- Try to avoid processed, refined and denatured foods such as white sugar, white Flour.
