Alternative treatment for piles



Piles are inflamed condition of condition of the veins inside or just outside therectum. There are commonly two types of piles:

External piles- Lot of pain, but not much bleeding.

Internal /bleeding piles- There is discharge of dark blood.


Symptoms of piles:

- Pain at passing stools

- Slight bleeding

- Feeling of soreness and irritation.

- Problem in sitting.

- Pain in the rectal region.


Causes of piles:


- Chronic constipation

- Pressure.

- Pregnancy.

- Prolonged sitting or standing

- Obesity

- Mental tension


Alternative treatment for Piles


- The main cause of piles is chronic constipation.

- Soak 3 -4 figs overnight in water. They should be taken the first thing in the morning along with water in which they were soaked. They should also be taken in the evening in a similar manner. Do the same for further 3 to 4 weeks. This alternative treatment for piles is very effective because this remedy helps stimulate the peristaltic movement which is beneficial for relieving constipation.

- Mango seeds are also use as an effective alternative treatment for bleeding piles. The seeds should be collected during the mango season, dried in the shade and powdered and kept stored for use as medicine. It should be given in doses of about 11/2 to 2 grams with or without honey.

- Take grated radish mixed with honey or you can also drink radish juice with one pinch of salt, drink 60 to 90 ml. in the morning and evening.

- White radish well ground into a paste in milk can also be beneficial applied over inflammed pile masses to relieve pain and swelling.

- Drink lot of water everyday.

- Avoid straining while passing stool.

- Make a mixture by mixing 50 ml each of turnip leaves juice + watercress juice +spinach juice with carrots carrot juice and drink this resultant juice for your piles treatment.

- Another effective piles remedy is the juice of ginger mixed with 1 teaspoon each of fresh lime juice + fresh mint juice, and a tablespoon of honey.

- Wheat grass juice used as an enema helps detoxify the walls of the piles. The general procedure is to give an enema with lukewarm or margosa water. After waiting for twenty minutes, 90 to 120 ml of the wheat grass juice enema is given. This should be retained for fifteen minutes.

- Boil 20 grams of sesame seeds in 500 ml of water till it is reduced by one-third, ground to paste with water, they can be given with butter for bleeding piles.

- Take cold hip bath twice a day.

Practice -


Yogasanas; Sarvangasana,viparit karani, halasana, and gomukhasana .

Yogkriyas: Jalneti and vamandhouti.
