Gout is a form of arthritis, a certain form of joint inflammation and swelling. Gout is also known as the disease of rich or kings. women after menopause and middle aged men are more prone to gout attack.
Symptoms of Gout

- After completing you fast, try to go on a fruit diet for at least 3 to 4 days. Make a new fruit diet menu by add fruits such as oranges, apples, peaches, pears, grapes and pineapple.

Breakfast for gout
Eat fruits such as apples, figs, mangoes, apricot and milk.
Lunch for gout
Eat steamed vegetables like cabbage, celery, beets, squash, lettuce, celery, water-cress, carrots, tomatoes and potatoes.
Dinner for gout
Sprout mung beans and alfalfa with salad of carrot, cabbage, tomatoes.
Cherries as an alternative treatment for Gout:
- Cherries are very effective in gout treatment. In order to treat your gout with cherries, try to consume about 15 to 25 cherries a day. Thereafter, atleast10 cherries a day will keep your gout under control.
- Potassium rich foods such as bananas, beans, potatoes, and green leafy vegetables are also beneficial for controlling gout.
- Another effective alternative treatment for gout is the mixture of carrot, beet and cucumber juice. Try to make a mixture by mixing 100 ml. beet juice+ 100 ml; cucumber juice + 300 ml. carrot juice (very effective treatment for gout related problems) about 150 ml. of this juice should be taken by the patient suffering from gout. Another effective combination is raw potato +fresh pineapple Juice.
- Try to stay away from stress by regularly going to yoga or meditation classes.
